Thomas Fraioli (BFA Violin Performance, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music) is a performing and recording artist, composer, author and teacher of jazz and blues music for the violin. He has written several volumes of instructional books for violin players interested in learning how to play jazz and blues music. Thomas has over 40 years of performing experience, playing in various music ensembles, including but not limited to jazz, blues, country, rock, bluegrass, and classical settings.
Thomas has transcribed and recorded numerous works of the late jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli and alto saxophonist Charlie "Bird" Parker. On this site, you can find recorded examples of the transcriptions, as well as jazz and blues instructional books for sale.
Thomas is available for private lessons, either in person or via Skype. He is also available for studio recording and/or live performing dates.
