The "Blues Violinist's Workbook" is a compilation of exercises and etudes written for the intermediate to advanced violinist who is seeking instruction in written text, sheet music, and audio formats on how to play blues music on the violin. The 42 page book contains 7 chapters that span a wide range of topics, discussing and illustrating violin technique and musical elements that pertain to blues violin playing. Each chapter contains audio clips for practicing the exercises. Many of the chapters conclude with a performance piece or pieces, where "play-along" accompanying tracks are also provided.
